Graduating with honors from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Shams was recognized for his exceptional academic achievements and awarded the Merit Scholars Scholarship. Remarkably, he was one of the youngest graduates from his dental program, having been granted early admission and completing his studies at the age of 24 in 2007.

Following his graduation, Dr. Shams established a thriving practice specializing in Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry in Southern California. In 2011, driven by his commitment to delivering top-quality dental care, he expanded his practice to El Paso, Texas, aiming to bring the standards of Beverly Hills dentistry to the Sun City.

In 2022, Dr. Shams embarked on a new chapter in his personal life, getting married and relocating back to Los Angeles full-time. Originally from Lima, Peru, Dr. Menendez obtained her dental degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in 1997. She then pursued advanced training in orthodontics, earning a Specialty Certificate and Master’s degree from the same institution in 2002. Seeking further expertise, Dr. Menendez continued her education in the United States, obtaining additional Master’s degrees and Specialty Certificates in Orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. She further honed her skills through a fellowship program in Surgical and Craniofacial Orthodontics at Indiana University in 2005.

In 2005, Dr. Menendez relocated to El Paso, Texas, where she established her private practice, Smiles Orthodontics, in 2012. Her dedication to her patients’ well-being and satisfaction is evident in her meticulous approach to orthodontic treatment.
