Dr. Holliday then continued his education at the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis, where he demonstrated leadership by serving in various roles, including treasurer of the American Student Dental Association and president of the Honor Council.

Upon graduating in 2004, Dr. Holliday received accolades for his contributions to dental education, including the Psi Omega Fraternal Achievement Award and the Pierre Fauchard Undergraduate Certificate of Merit. Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Thomasson obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

During his time in dental school, Dr. Thomasson excelled as class president and was honored with the Wisdom Coleman Student Leadership award. His education in Memphis not only provided him with invaluable clinical skills but also instilled in him the importance of compassionate patient care.

After graduation, Dr. Thomasson served in the Air Force, completing his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. During his tenure, he expanded his expertise to include sedation dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, wisdom tooth extractions, gum surgery techniques, and bone grafting.

Assigned to Minot AFB, ND, Dr. Thomasson had the privilege of caring for service members, further honing his skills and serving as a Clinical chair overseeing multiple general dentists. Now, as he transitions from military service, Dr. Thomasson is excited to join his father’s practice and continue the legacy of compassionate dental care.

Dr. Thomasson is committed to lifelong learning and is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Thomasson enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his wife, Rachel. During his dental education, Dr. Foster was awarded a scholarship from the National Health Service Corp, which he fulfilled by practicing near Cleveland, Tennessee, at the Benton Family Health Care Center for three years. In 1986, he joined Dr. Ernest Tomlinson, a longstanding figure in the Donelson community since 1951.
