Dr. Andrea Csiszar, DMD, is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She graduated with distinction from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2003 with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry and completed her post-graduate degree in Periodontics and a Master of Science in 2006. Dr. Csiszar is known for her expertise in diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, dental implant placement, and gum grafting. She has been honored twice with the Kathleen McAnulty Memorial Prize in Graduate Periodontics for her excellence and has received the Nobel Biocare award for outstanding achievement in implant surgery.

Dr. Jaspaul Seehra, DDS, is an accomplished oral surgeon with a robust educational and professional background. He grew up in the United Kingdom and relocated to British Columbia as a teenager. Dr. Seehra earned a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biosciences from Simon Fraser University and pursued post-baccalaureate studies in Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of British Columbia. In 1992, he completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Washington, practicing in Washington State before returning to the UK for an M.Sc. in Oral Surgery.

In 2000, Dr. Seehra established a private practice limited to oral surgery in Vancouver. His commitment to education and community service led him to join the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC as a clinical instructor, where he mentored senior dental students, residents, and graduate students at various clinical settings, including the Portland Dental Clinic, Vancouver General Hospital, B.C. Cancer Agency, and St. Paul’s Hospital Dental Clinic.

Dr. Seehra played a pivotal role in founding the Portland Dental Clinic in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, focusing on treating medically compromised and marginalized patients. He completed a General Practice Residency at UBC, specializing in TMD and Orofacial Pain Management.
