Dr. Perkiomaki completed his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and Western Oregon University before embarking on his dental education journey at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. In 1977, he proudly graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Throughout his career, Dr. Perkiomaki has remained actively engaged in professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), local and state dental societies, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Academy of R.V. While Dr. Perkiomaki transitioned into semi-retirement in January 2020, he continues to contribute to the practice, albeit on a more limited basis. Dr. Perkiomaki also maintains an active lifestyle, participating in activities such as downhill skiing, tennis, squash, and golf.
